CellaVision is a leader in digital morphology solutions for hematology, while RAL Diagnostics specializes in producing reagents and staining solutions for hematology, microbiology, and cytology. This acquisition enables CellaVision to offer a more comprehensive suite of products by integrating RAL's staining solutions with its digital analysis tools, thereby enhancing the overall value proposition to laboratories.
The combination of both companies' R&D capabilities will lead to enhanced innovation. CellaVision's expertise in digital imaging and artificial intelligence, paired with RAL's knowledge in reagent formulation, will drive the development of advanced diagnostic solutions. Additionally, RAL Diagnostics has developed a range of sample preparation devices for slide-making and staining. When combined with the CellaVision DC-1, it offers a turn-key solution, CellaVision DIFF-Line, for small and mid-sized hematology laboratories. This solution also includes methanol-free staining reagents.
