Note that the examiner must classify the WBCs’ and review the RBC morphologies before the slides can be used in tests.

It is possible to include up to 20 slides in a test.

The CellaVision Proficiency Software supports the following languages:

• English
• German
• Russian
• Spanish
• French
• Japanese
• Chinese

You can set your preferred language when you first log in to your account or at any time by accessing the Settings page and then clicking on Account information.

Please note that the auto-translate feature of some browsers may interfere with translation. If you are experiencing problems, make sure to turn off automatic translation in your browsers settings.

You can attach additional slide information to a slide. This could be information such as CBC data, histograms, or scatterplots. We support uploading of the following file formats: bmp, jpeg, gif, png, doc, docx, and txt.

Navigate to a completed test in the TEST tab and click once on it to get the detailed view. There you can attach a test conclusion report in a pdf file format.

If you have added an email address for the participant the program will send an automatic notification to that participant.

You can edit your account information under Settings.

CellaVision Proficiency Software allows you to anonymize all information connected to patients. It also allows all participant information to be anonymized.

GDPR and CellaVision Transfer Tool/CellaVision Proficiency Software

CellaVision Transfer Tool allows you to export slides from a supported database. You save slides as CVT files in a folder, with the order ID visible in the CVT file name. You can delete the folder with CVT files after you have uploaded the slides to CellaVision Proficiency Software.

In CellaVision Proficiency Software, you can edit the slide ID to use any letter/number combination.

You can transfer slides from an export database. Order ID can be edited in the export database before the slides are transferred.

You can rerun the slide with an ER label and specify a new order ID to avoid having the original order ID in CellaVision Transfer Tool.

Participant information

As a participant, you don’t need to use an email address but many features, like reminders, are only available with one.

First name: Can be any combination of letters/numbers.
Last name: Can be any combination of letters/numbers.

Check that you’re using the latest version of one of the following browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (Chromium based), Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.

Make sure you are using a minimum screen resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and that the browser zoom level is at 100%.

You can’t include slides that contain unclassified WBCs to tests. These slides are marked with a warning triangle in the slide list in the Slides view. Reclassify unclassified WBCs and try again.

You have no participants added to your CellaVision Proficiency Software account. Add participants and try again.

For Examiner: 
The test end date passed, or you manually ended the test before any participant had signed the selected slide. Select a different slide or a different participant to view results. If the test contains no results at all, create and start a new test.
For Participant: 
The test end date passed before you had signed the slides or you forgot to sign the slides. It is not enough with closing the slide in a test, you need to use the button "sign slide”.

Ask the participant to check that the email didn’t end up in the junk folder of their email program. Check that you entered the email address correctly in their account. Ask the participant to check with their IT department that the mail server filters aren’t blocking the email address of the sender: noreply@cellavision.com.

Log in to the CellaVision Proficiency Software and navigate to the SLIDES tab. Follow the instructions to install the Transfer Tool and upload slides. Note that Administrator privileges are required for the installation.

It is possible to transfer peripheral blood or body fluid slides from a Processing or Competency database with up to 500 WBC and one RBC overview image.

The credentials for logging in to the databases displayed in the Transfer Tool are the same as you have for accessing those databases from your CellaVision DM analyzer computer or the CellaVision Remote Review Software.

Depending on the browser, it may not always be possible to install the Transfer Tool directly by clicking “Run” or “Open” in the browser. As a workaround, select “Save” or “Save As” and then run the Transfer Tool executable installer from the location on your computer where you saved it.

Slides included in open orders in the CellaVision DM Software are not shown in the CellaVision Transfer Tool so check that the order is closed. Slides included in archived orders in the CellaVision DM Software are not shown in the CellaVision Transfer Tool and can’t be transferred.
