CellaVision® Scanner Application
CellaVision Scanner Application enables laboratories and educators to digitize microscope slides, providing a high-quality visual overview of selected areas for review, documentation, educational, and research purposes.
The application leverages the analyzer’s scanning capability to capture detailed digital images from a wide range of slide types, not limited to hematology samples.
Description
CellaVision® Scanner Application
The application supports:
- Slide Scanning, by digitizing selected areas of a microscope slide into high-resolution images
- Flexible Scan Area, with adjustable dimensions and coordinates, from specific regions to full-field (full-slide) coverage*
- Adjustable Resolution up to 100×* with multiple magnification levels to balance image detail, file size, and scan time
- Image Review and Management, including filtering and navigation
- Region of Interest handling, with annotation and export functionality
The application is intended for educational and research purposes, providing a digitized representation of microscope slides for visualization and sharing.
How does it work?
- The operator defines a scan area and selects resolution and scan settings before loading the slide
- The analyzer scans the defined area and creates a digitized image
- Scanned images are stored and managed within the application
- Users can open images, zoom, navigate, adjust settings, and define regions of interest
- Regions of interest can be annotated and exported as separate image files
Why CellaVision® Scanner Application?
CellaVision Scanner Application enables efficient digitization and sharing of microscope slides:
- High-quality digital images support teaching, collaboration, and documentation
- User-defined scan areas provide control over what is captured, from focused regions to full-field (full-slide) views
