Q: Can you briefly introduce yourself and a bit about your background?
I come from an extremely diverse background. My father is Armenian/Syrian, my mother is Italian/Eritrean, and I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi. Later, I moved to Canada for my education, returned to the United Arab Emirates where I met my fiancé, and now live in Sweden.
From an early stage, I was inspired by my father, who built several companies from the ground up. Watching him navigate challenges and grow businesses sparked my interest in the world of business and people and ultimately led me to pursue a career in Human Resources.
Q: What led you to choose your area of expertise originally?
My journey into HR was guided by a desire to follow in my father’s footsteps while leveraging my own strengths in communication and relationship-building. I spent the early part of my career in the UAE as a recruiter and HR generalist, and most recently served as an HR Business Partner for the strategy arm of Accenture in Copenhagen.
Each role helped me refine my understanding of people, organizational dynamics, and how to support individuals and teams to perform at their best.
Q: What motivates you most in your daily work – both on a professional and personal level?
Since joining CellaVision, I have been motivated by the opportunity to work for an organization with a meaningful mission. Helping people through a company that makes a real difference in healthcare aligns perfectly with my personal and professional goals.
Professionally, I enjoy seeing organizations grow and transforming culture to improve engagement at all levels. Personally, my daughter inspires me every day; I want to lead by example and provide her with the best possible opportunities in life.
Q: How would you describe your current role and main responsibilities?
In my current role, I support and facilitate HR-related processes to ensure our people are empowered to bring their best to work. One project I am particularly proud of is improving our performance management process. After analyzing engagement survey results, I realized we needed more transparency in the process.
Together with my team, we implemented significant updates, created workshops for managers, and provided guidance to support employees more effectively. It was a meaningful way to directly impact engagement and culture.
Q: How have you developed, professionally or personally, since you started working at CellaVision?
Collaboration is at the heart of my work. As an HR Business Partner, I work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization. I thrive on team dynamics, as our collective efforts create greater impact than individual contributions alone.
Through these experiences, I have grown professionally, gaining confidence in presenting, coaching, and leading initiatives that influence both employee engagement and organizational culture.
Q: What hobbies, interests or passions do you have that shape who you are?
Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, listening to music, weight training, and spending quality time with my daughter. These activities provide balance, discipline, and creative outlets in my life. A fun fact about me is that I started university at 17 and couldn’t legally enter a bar until two years into my studies in Canada.
Ultimately, my motivation comes from building a better future for my daughter and creating opportunities I didn’t have myself, while leading by example in both my personal and professional life.
