Features designed for Multi-Species

Different animal species have varying blood characteristics. Our analyzers use different machine learning algorithms to perform blood cell differentials depending on the species. Some of our features are only available for certain species.

Canine

For canine blood samples WBC pre-classification, RBC pre-characterization, and Feathered Edge Scan features are available.

Feline

For feline blood samples WBC pre-classification, RBC pre-characterization, and Feathered Edge Scan features are available.

Avian

For avian blood samples WBC pre-classification, Manual RBC characterization, WBC concentration estimate, and Feathered Edge Scan features are available.

Other

For other mammalian species blood samples WBC pre-classification, RBC pre-characterization, and Feathered Edge Scan features are available.

Reagents for animal biology

According to the WHO, 75% of emerging diseases in humans are of animal origin. CellaVision – RAL Diagnostics contributes to health security by offering relevant stains for animal health, adapted and created for vets and breeders (dogs, cats, sheep, cattle).
