NEW With CellaVision® DM96 it is possible to capture digital images of custom defined area of an interesting specimen, creating a Digital Slide.
Although primarily designed for hematology smears, the digitization function is also applicable to other types of specimens, such as Pathology and Cytology, for research and educational purposes. It gives a useful overview of the sample and allows for discussion between physicians regardless of physical location. Regions of Interest can be tagged, comments added and exported into presentations and educational material.
The function is available in software version 2.0 or higher of CellaVision's application for peripheral blood.
