The CellaVision DM96 automatically performs a preliminary WBC Differential and RBC characterization, and provides functionality for platelet estimation. 100 WBCs can be displayed on one single screen for quick confirmation of the CBC analyzer result. The preliminary result requires verification by a Medical Technologist. When classification needs to be changed, cells can be dragged and dropped into the appropriate cell class.
Comments can be added to any slide, cell class or specific cell, and images can be stored and sent by email. An online reference library, access to a patient’s historical images and real-time collaboration ensures the accuracy and standardization of the analysis.
